I will be 40 tomorrow. No, that is not a typo. 40. I am not sure how I got here. Just doesn't seem quite right. I've been kinda out of it the past few days. My mind has been elsewhere. I am wondering if this 40 thing bothers me more than I realize. I know by my age you are supposed to have accomplished certain things in life which I have not. Is that bad or did I just choose a different path?
I guess I can't really worry about things like that. It is what it is. Besides, things are better for me than they have been in a long time. :)

David Duchovny has entered a rehabilitation center for sex addiction, People.com reports.
"I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction," the "Californication" actor tells People.com in an exclusive statement, according to his lawyer, Stanton "Larry" Stein.

There is a new beverage gaining popularity in the South, especially Houston, called Drank. Drank anti-energy drink finds its roots in "purple drank," a slang term for a concoction popularized in the South by the hip-hop community, according to Wikipedia. Purple drank typically includes promethazine-codeine cough syrup which produces a stoned sedation. Promethazine is an antihistamine while codeine is an opiate narcotic. The syrup is colored purple hence "Purple drank."
However, Drank's active ingredients are all legal, and can be found at health and vitamin shops. Drank's press release says, "From design to production, every aspect of this calming drink was inspired by today’s popular hip hop artists who embrace the much sought-after hip hop lifestyle that encourages people to capture a stress-free state of mind."
If there can be a Cocaine Energy Drink with no cocaine, we suppose there can be Drank with no powerful pharmaceuticals. However, given the active ingredients, we're guessing that Drank will do little more than make you sleepy. But if taking naps is what is considered hip-hop nowadays, we're sure that Drank will be a runaway success.

This is a poster for the Olympics. I like the simple stick figures. But I do have to wonder why it looks like some of them are in wheelchairs and why the drawing in the third row down , third one in, looks like it is for the "gonna have to choke a bitch" competition.
I can only guess that Yussie Feng's comment of "fuck on" is the opposite of "fuck off".
